Inside 3D Models
[ 3D Models ] After 3D Models ] Globes ]

When we started the CSI project Mrs. La Mar asked us what we knew about cemeteries.  This is our list;
bullet

Cemeteries are often next to churches

bullet

People often put flowers there on Memorial Day to remember the people who died.

bullet

On headstones the person who makes the headstone always carve their names out so that you can find the name of the person who is buried there.

bullet

Not all headstones have to be facing upwards or are upright.

bullet

People that are visiting the graves leave notes for the relatives that died.

bullet

All graveyards for the crosses are for people who died in the war. People who die in wars have a cross put on the gravestone.

After we told her what we knew, she asked us to SHOW her by building a cemetery diorama. Our class is making paper models of cemeteries to see what we know about cemeteries. We did this before we studied our own cemetery. Each group made a diorama then we shared them with the class. Each group looked at all of the other dioramas to see what we learned from the others, then we went back and added more information to ours.  After we are done, we are going to change our models to show what we learned.   When we looked at the graphs we saw all sorts of facts that we could add to our dioramas.
