Since using video is much like digital photography students applied what they had learned about "shots" to their video "shots".  In advance of each shot, students planned what they would say.  That kept the shots short and simple.  Cameras were mounted on tripods to keep the video steady.  Wireless lavaliere microphones were used to ensure sound quality.  A boom mike was also used.  For more on working with young children and video see Kid Video .  Keep the process simple and plan ahead.  The video team was composed of a camera person, director, boom microphone holder, and sound person wearing a headset from the camera output.  The student director reviewed and called all the shots.  Since they knew we were not making a movie editing with I-Movie was simple. Each individual scene was captured and exported as a QuickTime movie.   For more on video see http://ali.apple.com/ali_sites/ali/exhibits/1000019/   All student edited movies were processed by Mrs. Ferguson for use on the web.
