ERA CATEGORY GRAPH

Most of the graph shows headstones in the Modern Period (1930-1970). The Victorian Era is next.

CARVING

Eighty-eight of the headstones were in mint condition. This means that they were not damaged or weathered.  There were about 40 that were clear, but worn.

DESIGN CATEGORY OF HEADSTONE

The number one headstone that we saw was blocks. We thought we would see more tablets because we thought that was the main kind of headstone.  Tablet headstones were the second most common headstone that we found.  The third most common was the “raised top inscription” which we learned is more common now.
