The Doors
This is by the door. If you look carefully you can see that there is a metal "fence" to protect the wall. People would drive the wagons into the blacksmith shop and had to drive out the other side. This fence protected the walls when the wheels would rub against the wall. The shop had to be big to fit horses, oxen, wagons, and plows.
