The Looks

The Blacksmith Shop

The shop had to be big to fit horses, wagons and ploughs. The shop had to have a dirt floor because the floor would not catch on fire. A wood floor would catch on fire with a spark from the forge. The shop had to be a large area. It had to have a large place to store materials, tools, metals, a workbench, water tub (for cooling the metal), the forge, anvil (Where he banged the metal to make it take a shape), and a place to store the coal. The coal was used to get the fire going.
