Cooking Tools

Cooking Tools used by the Suisuni

These tools are utensils they needed for cooking. The first one was used for the acorn mush. It was the crushed acorns in the air, the regular acorns would stay in and the bad stuff was tossed out. The second tool was a musical instrument that you hit on your leg. The third tool was used to throw the spear farther. The brush was used to clear out the acorns out of the mortar or milling depression (the hole in the rock). The long braid was used for rope. The antler was used as a shovel to dig. The thing in the top is a spear.
